This is the least entertaining and probably most useful article on the blog.
It's not about moralizing. It's about how the difference between a good and a bad experience is almost never in the product itself: it's in the surrounding decisions.
These are ours.
18 years or older. No exceptions.
The brain continues to develop well into the twenties, and the evidence on early THC exposure is consistent enough not to be debated.
Everything we sell is exclusively for those 18 years or older. This is not a legal disclaimer formality — it is the first rule and has no nuances.
Never behind the wheel
Cannabis affects reaction time, coordination, and distance perception. And there's a specific aggravating factor with edibles: the effect can appear hours after consumption.
Someone who consumes at 6 PM might be at their peak at 9 PM. If the plan includes driving at any point during the night, the plan and the edible do not go together.
The same applies to machinery, bicycles, and anything that depends on your reflexes.
Never with alcohol
The combination doesn't add up: it multiplies, and in a way that's difficult to anticipate.
Alcohol increases THC absorption, and both affect coordination through different pathways. The result —nausea, dizziness, the feeling of losing control— is one of the most frequent causes of a bad experience.
If you're going to drink, don't consume. If you're going to consume, don't drink. It's the simplest rule in the article.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Cannabinoids cross the placenta and are transferred into breast milk. Do not consume if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
Medication interactions
This part is often overlooked and shouldn't be.
Cannabinoids are metabolized through the cytochrome P450 (CYP450) enzyme system — the same pathway that processes a good portion of common medications. This means they can compete for the same enzymes and alter drug levels in the blood, either up or down.
Consult your doctor before consuming if you take:
- Anticoagulants
- Antiepileptics
- Anxiolytics or sedatives
- Immunosuppressants
And in general, if you take any medication regularly, ask the person who prescribed it. This is not excessive caution: it's the two-minute conversation that prevents problems.
Here it's important to be explicit: nothing we sell or write replaces medical advice. Cannabinoids interact with the endocannabinoid system and participate in the regulation of various processes. That is not the same as treating, curing, or diagnosing anything, and anyone who presents it to you that way is selling you something they cannot deliver.
The house rules
Beyond the above, this is what is up to you:
Start low and go slow. Wait two hours before re-evaluating. This is the rule that prevents 90% of bad times, and the one that is most ignored. The full breakdown is in the dosage guide.
Know your product before taking it. How many milligrams per piece, what cannabinoids it contains, if it's divisible. If you don't know how to read it, here we explain how.
Choose the context. Familiar place, trusted people, no commitments in the next few hours. The environment shapes the experience more than people suppose.
Keep it locked up. An edible looks too much like candy. Out of reach of children and pets, in its original packaging, always — not in the fruit bowl, not on the coffee table.
Don't share without warning. Offering an edible without saying what it is is not mischief. It's taking away someone's decision about their own body.
Rest. Frequent use increases tolerance. Regular breaks bring it back to normal and allow you to use less for the same effect.
If someone overdid it
There are no recorded cases of fatal cannabis overdose. But a bad trip can be very unpleasant, and knowing what to do helps.
- Take them to a quiet place, with dim light and no noise.
- Water and something light to eat.
- Slow and counted breathing.
- Remind them that it's temporary and will pass. The anxiety of believing it won't end makes everything worse.
- Stay with them. Don't leave them alone.
- If there are genuinely concerning physical symptoms —chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness— seek immediate medical attention. Without hesitation or shame.
The framework
The products we sell are hemp-derived with THC content within the limits allowed by current Mexican regulations, and their sale is exclusive to individuals over 18 years of age.
It's worth knowing for a practical reason: a product that declares its regulatory framework, batch, and laboratory analysis is a product from someone who can vouch for it.
What you take away
- 18+, never behind the wheel, never with alcohol, never during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Medical consultation if you take anticoagulants, antiepileptics, anxiolytics, or immunosuppressants.
- Start low, go slow, wait two hours.
- Keep it locked up. It looks too much like candy.
- Never offer an edible without saying what it is.
Important notice. Hemp-derived product with THC content in accordance with current Mexican regulations. Exclusive sale to persons over 18 years of age. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not drive or operate machinery under its influence. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before consuming if you take anticoagulants, antiepileptics, anxiolytics, or immunosuppressants.
